Activities sponsored by MMAG are only successful with help from parent volunteers.
Please consider lending a hand with organizing events, ushering, etc., and attend our board meetings.
Organized event volunteer opportunities will be posted here as they become available. If you have not done so, please fill out the contact info form, or you can also e-mail MMAG for any help you can offer, with your contact information. We are always looking for new parents to join the leadership team!
Parents like YOU make the Mills Music Program thrive! We want to wish you a great start to the 2026-2027 school year, and give you the opportunity to further your student's success at Mills. We encourage all Mills Music families to volunteer for events, and we look forward to working with you as part of this amazing community. In order to volunteer--even in concessions, at concerts, on field trips, etc.--you MUST complete all of the steps for the Volunteer Clearance process.
*If you have not yet been cleared, please follow the steps outlined here: Volunteer Portal Instructions.
*We recommend you apply for Tier IV clearance (at least Tier III clearance) as many volunteer roles, such as working the concessions stand or setting up at a concert, amongst others, involve student interaction.
*If you have already been cleared and need to renew your clearance, please note that the district is using a new Parent Volunteer Portal this year. If you create an account and don't see your prior year's records, you can contact the District Office HR department (hrvolunteer@smuhsd.org) to have your existing file linked to your new portal profile.
Parent volunteers truly better the active music and drama programs at Mills, and the District requires that all volunteers obtain clearance. We appreciate you completing this process and your willingness to help out, as there are several exciting events coming up this fall!
